Growing up in Hong Kong the daughter of two entrepreneurs gave Lara the inspiration to start her own business, but not before building a career in sales that gave her important skills that helped fuel her later success. It was the recession of '91 that prompted Lara to start her first business. With few jobs available for sales people, she decided to make one for herself.
